Meet our founder, Ian
Ian was born in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, where every walk to school took him through untamed wilderness. Each day, he’d look up at the towering mountain and follow the same paths carved by wild animals. Those early moments sparked a deep love for nature—and inspired him to one day become a safari guide.
Ian has been guiding travelers from all over the world for almost 20 years
Guiding new friends through his homeland allows him to share the special and unique history and culture of Tanzania in a way that people truly connect with. Now it’s your turn.

At Sinde Adventure, we pride ourselves on having exceptional guides who are naturalists with extensive experience and intimate knowledge of all the national parks in Tanzania. They possess a deep understanding of the African wilderness and its people, enabling them to deliver the ultimate safari experience.
When it comes to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, having competent and high-quality guides, cooks, and porters is of utmost importance. Our guides have undergone extensive training in first aid, mountain rescue, flora and fauna, and Kilimanjaro’s history. They are all registered with Kilimanjaro National Park (KINAPA), most of them having climbed the mountain over 100 times! They are true professionals who possess an intimate knowledge of the mountain.
